O.K. O.K. So I have finally decided to officially start our family Blog!!!My family is my world so what a better way to be able to brag about the crazy, sentimental, funny, stupid, off the wall, boring, hilarious, sad, amazing things that I endure each day being the mother of 3 amazing kids. My Family and I moved to Arizona in February 2005 it was an emotional move since I was leaving my family in California. We moved to Queen Creek, AZ. From the Tiny town of Valley Springs, CA. My family and I needed a change and boy did we get one. I wasn't sure if I would be happy living so far away from my parents, my sisters, and my friends; but I knew that I needed a change. Now that we have been here for 3 years I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!
My Husband of almost 13 years (YIKES) Curt Quit being an owner Operator for Mayflower moving systems which he had done for 10 years in order to spend more time with his family. For 10 years I truly felt like a single mom. Curt would be gone 4-6 weeks at a time and home for only 3-5 days a month, it was a sacrifice we made as a family in order for me to get through Nursing school. Curt currently works for Safeway as a driver he makes deliveries to the stores all over Arizona and western New Mexico, Happily he is home every night. Working at Safeway we now have a crazy insane extended family. Most of the people that work with Curt are all Arizona Transplants and therefore we have all become each others dysfunctional families We are known to each other as the "US's" I know not grammatically correct but its fitting I will be sure to blog about them later!
I also made a huge change since we moved here I was once a crazy ER nurse in Cali and am now a crazy L&D nurse at a busy high risk Labor and Delivery Unit at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. I wasn't sure if I could enjoy working there since I had such an amazing group of nurses and Doctors that I worked with in the ER at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson California. But apparently all nurses and Doctors are crazy!! I love what I do and I Love the people I work with I truly could not ask for a better group of friends and co-workers.
